The popular interaction with literature and poetry has been a two level thought, literary and mundane.
The literary points were always conscious of the orginality of thought, distinctive style of expression,
adhrenece to the rhythmic discipline, setting example for others to follow, and cultivating lineage of
decipher to continue the tradition of literature for times to come. The mundane poets were one who wrote
simple verses whch may not have been original in thought but were easy to understand and were generally
popular among the masses. However they were always the secondary practioners of the form and never over
shadowed the masters. Generally the masters had patronage of the rich and the powerful, many a times the
royal courts.
However in the post independent india this tradition suffred a massive jolt, primarily
because of the division of the country, migration of large population, rising dominance of english and
western culture all resulting in prominence of mundane poets at the cost of the masters.
Due to ever increasing commercialisation of the films the masters were relegated to a secondary positions
and had to struggle for stage and public space, since it was becoming difficult for them to even
sustain themselves in public domain, they started appearing less and less publicly. The masses started
beliving that what these mundane poets were writing was the standard of literature. Unsurprisingly the
mundane poert itself lost its standard too as more than the poetry the performance on the stage for
audience attention became the driving force. A number of singers, mimics and entertainers started
appering as poets leading to overall decine of literature.
We believe in integrating human kind through expression of our sheer values of love, passion, struggle, pain and pleasure, evolving colours of relationships that we feel and undergo during the course of time, wrapping words and music, all pointing towards the essence of our core belief of existence - all humans are bound by humanity.
We seek to propagate harmony in the society by bringing the true feelings in a poetic style in front of the audience. We seek to integrate our new generations with the heritage of our great composite culture. We strive to revive dying forms of poetry, literature, exotic art by encouraging its practitioners, providing them with wonderful stage, audience and milieu.
We only encourage original writers who have novelty of thought and want to express themselves in their distinctive style.
